This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Pass Vault on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Pass Vault is an application backed by the power of Google cloud to store all your passwords in an encrypted form.

Key Features:
Screen Lock Authorization:
If the user has Screen lock enabled, then each time the app is launched user needs to authorize the Phone Screen lock to proceed further. This adds an additional level of security.

Encryption:
The passwords are viewed in Encrypted form so that while viewing password no other person except the owner of the device can view the password.

Decryption:
For viewing the actual password, it needs to be decrypted which in turn will ask the Screen lock, then only the user can view the password. This makes the password and other data more secure.

Easier Access:
The copy button will allow the user to easily copy the password.

Update:
The username & passwords can be easily updated using the update button.

Free:
The app is 100% free of cost and one can store as many passwords one have.
