It's so useful when migrating to a new phone which is not from the same manufacturer as the old phone and you have no choice for migrating text messages and call logs except this great application. At first I couldn't import my data because the new phone could not be found in the old phone using wireless, then I realized that there's another way: backup to Google Drive in your old phone and then restore it using the same account in your new phone, which worked perfectly for me. That's great!

does its job, but don't see the option of export in format apart from xml (csv would be great). that's why only 3 stars ok after a few weeks of using it i'm sold! ux can be better but pretty simple to navigate. the level of customisation of backups is insane for a free app. absence of csv format is not such a big deal honestly. Thanks a lot and keep up the good work!

This app does exactly what it's been told to do, whether you want it to or not. ;) Make sure you disable the ability for it to work in the background on mobile data if you dont have an unlimited data plan.. Over the last year I started periodically running out of data. I was buying 3 gig chunks and even eventually upgraded my plan, and then immediately ran out of data. It turns out that Backup & Restore was dumping gigs of data in the middle of the night. This feature should be default off.

Unable to back up admitedly i have way too mny messages but the back uo tool fail every time for any number of messages 10k and i ahve 145k+ to back up. (I know) i had no idea my sms/mms had stopped backing up daily and now its useless. Update- I gave up trying to sync my old phone with my new phone. Work fine if you aren't backing up over 20k messages at a time. Additional it does make a new file every back up.

Pretty good in the past but now I am struggling to download photos/media that I have successfully downloaded previously. I can see that the full download isn't taking place as the 'local download' is only about a quarter of the intended size. Will happily rate 5 stars if this issues is resolved!

It's very good & fantastic App. Download this app in both mobiles. From old mobile you Click -> First backup -> then you send it to your new phone wia bluetooth or WiFi. In new mobile just open the same app and click on -> Restore then choose received file.... And open Restore. All messages will be restored perfectly. Thank you so much App.
