This is a great app, I've been waiting for someone to do this... I have a couple suggestions. 1) The Settings could probably be more user friendly. 2) A widget or an always on display would be a great addition.

I love this app, on top of meeting the needs for a liturgical clock, it also makes a great visual aid when talking about liturgical time.

Can you make it with alarms on every of 8 times for prayers, but that i can choese for every of 8 times what sound it will have from my phone? For exsample i am in group of peopel and i do not wish to have there attention when I leave their company to pray to the God. becouse of that i will put some neutral sound. When i am alone, i wish to put some sound from Orthodox chanting or so. I have bought it and i see that is late for abauth 30 minuts compared with other two Byzantine time applications. Something is wrog or what? Also, it would be nice if we have few backgraund and on different languges (Serbian, Russian...)

About this app

Ever wanted to pray like King David or how about the Apostles of the Holy Bible and Jesus Christ Himself who stated "are there not 12 Hours in a day?" and he went up to the Synagogue at the Hour of Prayer.

Byzantine Time originates even before the Byzantine Empire found among Ancient Judeans. It uses Unequal Hours like a Sundial. The next day begins at Evening rather than midnight on modern clocks. This Application Requires GPS to operate , how ever you can manually type in the Longitude and Latitude in the settings.

Byzantine Time is still kept by Holy Monks on Mount Athos, and the Eastern Orthodox Church keeps the Prayer Hours to this day.
