The app seems to transcribe nicely, yet it locks you out of the transcripts it had just prepared for you right in front of your eyes. I don't want to be upsold a transcription service--just charge me a fixed price to buy the registered version of the app and then leave my recordings and transcripts alone. $20, $50, $70, or whatever. I want a product, not a service. I don't want anyone else hearing my voice notes, either, or whatever it is you do to manually enhance the automatic transcriptions.

This is a terrible app. I can't hear any of the interviews I've taken and when I've tried to purchase the transcripts, at least 3 of them have not transcribed. I'm deleting and not using this again.

I can't seem to find a transcription app that actually works well. This so far is the closest after trying over 6. It would be great to have full ability to test how everything works before having to "sign up" to unlock the first transcription. It sucks having to set up accounts that need to turn around and be deleted because I can't use them. I want to have a hands on test for at least a few minutes worth of a transcription to make sure it records, edits, and shares the way I need.

They used to be solid, but more than doubled their per-minute price (from 10c to 25c) while having a multitude of reliability issues pop up. Would avoid -- there's no reason to increase the price so high when the service no more reliable at transcribing than their cheaper competitors. So, with the accuracy being the same, then the unreliable transcription process (usually delivering blank text files on recordings that are loud and clear, as confirmed by cust. service) basically removes any reason to use them. Which is a shame, they didn't need to be greedy. An update to their response: I've found otherwise in real-world testing, the last few I ran side-by-side with Scribbie before leaving the service when y'all couldn't figure out why your service kept delivering blank transcripts. You're not any more accurate than they are, and your greed has clearly cost you more than a few customers.

You know those memes that went around for awhile that were "I made AI watch x amount of hours and it wrote its own episode of _"? Yeah, that's essentially what this app does. Two stars because of ease of use and at least it's comical. My favorite is the following transcription about cells: "Is that blood vessels? Awesome. Instead of organs. It's better for us to define gangs. Two, two seats for example. At the failure. We have the following. That's comical level. Atoms and molecules. Yeah."

I don't understand how this app works. The preview shows that you can paste the links of past meeting recordings to the app and they get transcribed, but when I downloaded it, the app is more of a recorder than a transcriber. Please explain this. There's no place to paste the link of past meeting recordings.
