This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Renishaw GoProbe on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Needs polishing, and some new features, but love it for my doosan.

This app would be even better if it would have Haas routines. Not all of the Renishaw functions are available through Haas's VQC or WIPS.

it looks nice but I have a Meldas50 control that uses Fanuc software for tool setting and this spits out the wrong macro program numbers..... almost good

How to do probe calibration? Probe does not rotate 180 degree when using goprobe app.

About this app

GoProbe makes using your Renishaw machine tool probe simple, with quick and easy-to-use single-line commands.
The GoProbe app conveniently produces these single-line commands on your smartphone. Simply select the probing cycle you need from the menu, complete the input data fields and the app will generate the single-line command for that cycle, ready for you to key into the machine.

The GoProbe app also includes animations and videos of each probing cycle for visual reference.

This app is intended as a reference tool and should be used in conjunction with the GoProbe training kit. This app should only be used with Renishaw software packages which support the use of GoProbe cycles. Refer to www.renishaw.com/goprobe for full details.

A minimum screen resolution of 800 x 480 is recommended for this app.
