This will connect to my sony NEX5R but only has a bar code reading function. Can't actually operate my camera. Still this app was easier to get my camera connected to my SIII than the app put out by Sony so i'm hoping updates to this app will eventually let me control the shutter remotely from my phone and to be used for recording video remotely from my phone.

i couldn't get the official app to work, but for my purposes this is even better. i just wanted a fullscreen image with no ui. thank you.

All it can do is read a barcode. My phone can already read a barcode.
