I went to AWS re:Invent in 2019 and a TurnoutNow beacon was on each badge lanyard. After reading an article about this, I popped off the cover, replaced the battery, and downloaded this app. It found the beacon immediately. The distance measurement is a bit wonky, but at the very least this should tell me which room my keys are in :-D Thanks, Locate Beacon! And thanks to Amazon for the new gadget (even if its "off-label" functionality was unintentional). LOL!

Hi there I just brought the latest Samsung S7 phone and downloaded this APP 'Locate beacon" and this phone doesn't seem to be able to search Beacons signal around. Even i am standing next to the Beacons with my Samsung S7 phone. Is it the reason of Samsung S7 is using Android version 6.0.1 not Android version 5? Would like to seek for help on this item above.
