App doesn't even open after last update. Save your money and buy a real tune.

Very limited devices will find or download this app and when you do find a device the app is unstable...also,they will claim that the app will download to any android 6 and above...not true...i have 5 devices here,all above android 6,none will download app...indeed i found some tech on line that said it actually requires android 9 not 6...so i bought a tablet with android 10 and the app finally worked!...albeit i had to deleate and reload it a few times before it was stable...dont buy one of these units..unless you are extremely lucky you will be angrily dissapointed and out of pocket and the company are not interested in refunds...absolute load of garbage

Fantastic performance increases are possible with the RaceChip*. Adjusts rail pressure sensors to move the torque range lower down. Dyno testing on a rolling road in a few weeks, which will cost £100. I have the RS version with the mobile app purchased as an extra for £249 in total. Six separate tuning levels, to allow for economy or performance. Quoted performance increases of 34hp and 79nm torque. Will update when I have the Dyno results... *Deactivated to allow for the bad weather conditions.

Well after first installing it to my WRX STi i wasnt overly impressed, but after contacting Racechip Support " Rafal was more then happy to give me a few suggestions, then after trying them i went an got it put on the Dyno , jus to see what the difference actually was , it definitely showed there was a increase in Torque an horsepower, an After showing Rafal he got back to me with a new Tune an Setup an let me tell u WoW what difference, there was a huge Gain in power through the gears,

Not that great, much better to have a MAX TUNE, TRUETUNE device, the truetune actually tunes the software and not sending fake voltage signals to the ecu like the race chip box. Expensive for what it is better to get proper software like the truetune.

The chip isn't worth the money, compared to a remap of the engine, which also is less likely to put stress on the engine/turbo as it is only actually connected at the head block and the TPS so there isn't "much" being changed to notice. I have changed my driving style and MPG went up. I sent mine back and got a full refund via eBay - it didnt perform as discribed, just doesn't deliver. App when connected was a brilliant interface and responsive quick change of mode.
