This review is for the smartphone QS view app for android and iPhone. I've tried both and both versions work perfectly. But I'm hoping for some future improvements. Mainly the ability to see more than 4 live view channels. Especially for us that have the 8 channel systems. I would not make an issue of this if the browser based viewer worked with browsers other than IE. But it doesn't doesn't work on non IE browsers (chrome, Firefox, mobile web browsers). Though the IE browser based remote viewer does work fine from a pc with the plugin installed. But I digress as this is a review of the smartphone mobile app. Overall I am impressed with the functionality offered by the mobile app. Testing is still pending on the ptz functions, but hopefully that works out. 5 stars if above improvements are made.

Though not sure what changed. Used to be ok not great. By the way for the people that only see 4 cameras you have to set up as 8 when you add the device. Go in edit your device and change it to 8 for channels and you'll be able to see them all.

I have had my 8 channel QSEE (QS) for over a year now and it works great. Anytime anywhere I can log in and see all 8 cameras. Some of the other reviews complain that it only works on 4 channels need to go into the settings and change from 4 to 8 or 16 channel in order to view all cameras

We all have bought your security systems ranging from $500 to $1500 can you at least put in the time to update the android app. Your iPhone app works flawlessly, but when it comes to android it's just embarrassing to see a company like yourself not update such an essential app for your consumer base. I cant see more than 4 cams even when I have 8 up and my other dvr has 8 too, I would love to see the other cams up too. The app also crashes in long periods of time. Please can you update this qsee app.

When I first downloaded and installed this app on my phone it worked great!!! Then after about a month or so I wasn't able to view my property from my droid phone and it closes as soon as I click the live view icon... GARBAGE!!! I would like to see this fixed but as of now it not useful at all...

First of all to all does this say the app crashes on startup my system has 8 cameras and if I define the device to have the default 4 cameras then the app crashes startup but if I set it to 8 that it works just fine. I am missing the configuration options that are available when using Internet Explorer, as the app only allows to view and not modify settings for the system. The other problem I'm having is playback, it just doesn't seem to work. I choose the date and it tells me searching, forever. Works on PC
