This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing WiFi - Internet Speed Test on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. This app works great from a wifi connection on my phone, BUT, will not work from a hardwired connect from my phone. I have a wire connection adapter for my Pixel2 phone and the phone app says no network connection. If this worked from my phone I would give 5 stars! ================= Update: Followed your instructions and all is well. This app does what a $65 piece of test hardware does. Thank you. PS: Just upgraded to Pro version.

The best thing about this app is that it provides both a speed test for the Internet but also a measure of the speed from the WiFi router itself. This helps you know if the issue is the WiFi signal or the Internet connection.

UNUSABLE. The developer is OBSESSED WITH ADs to the point when the inevitable ad starts there is no way of closing it down other than to kill the app. The very least the developer needs to check his product before releasing.
