This device and app combo has so much wasted promise. Yes, it backed up my photos. But it doesn't keep the backups of my devices separate. Now, add my wife's device and her photos are mixed with mine. Sad. And what about the rest of the data on my device. Why can't I backup the rest? Nice concept. Very poor implementation.

No specific detailed options for file management. Doesn't read sd card. Doesn't even show what's on the hard drive itself (could be file types not being recognized). No real directions included with the hard drive itself. Very good idea but poorly executed.

So far I haven't been able to disable whatever feature is causing the drain. There doesn't seem to be a settings option.

It must be caused by the app keeps trying to connect to the hardware. I need to manually close the sync switches to "disable", and then it is fine. Other feature seems OK.
