This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Sound Meter on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. Sound meter measures the volume and noise level in decibels using your phone any time and any where. Amazing application works like a charm.It is extremely easy to use and accurate app.
Feature:

6. 5% max error (depends on device hardware)

Disclaimer:
- Due to microphone limitations on different android devices, the meter range is different, usually the low end of the scale cannot be achieved due to the microphone noise and the upper end of the scale is limited by the microphone distortion on high levels.
- Devices employing AGC (Automatic Gain Control) will have significant measurement errors and limited range. This is not application's fault.
