This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Pollutube on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

About this app

In the recent decade, the massive industrial rise and the huge increase in the number of vehicles have caused the levels of air and noise pollution to increase in Lebanon. Pollution is the main cause of lung cancer and problem, as well as heart diseases. However, there remains the need of a system that enables people to monitor the amount of air and noise pollution surrounding them. Pollutube is a mobile pollution monitoring system that measures the amount of CO, SO2, O3, air quality, and noise pollution in an area and storing them in an online database, which can be retrieved using the Pollutube android mobile application or the website. In addition, the integrated Google maps, shows colored pins specifying the amount of pollution. Air pollution is measured with four sensors, and the noise pollution is measured throughout the mobile microphone. All the sensors communicate with the mobile application via Bluetooth through the Arduino microprocessor. In conclusion, the project’s results show that Pollutube is able to perform its objectives and the pollution data is gathered. The data is then stored on a server and displayed on the map. The system is mobile, fast and cost effective, which makes it efficient and demanded.
