Why would I pay for something I can get for free, just get the app that looks like a big X

Works for Sky Q also. Works just the same as the Sky Q remote. You can control two boxes. I have two boxes in my house. Fast connection when you first install app. No need to find your box IP etc this app finds the boxes and TV by itself. Also I like that when you turn the power off on any box or TV you can turn it back on. Unlike some apps when you turn of the power it doesn't want to find the device so you can turn it back on. But the only thing is this app is a trial period app 7 days trial period then it doesn't even work at all because the trial period is over and they asking you to upgrade and buy the app. I don't buy apps like this this app is the same as the other AV apps. I deleted the first one cause it asked me to buy after the trial period of 7 days. So I just installed this one and it works just the same as the other one I had to delete.

Initially it worked well for my Tivo and Onkyo TX-NR709 except for a few interface quirks but the second time I went to use it none of the audio controls worked for the Onkyo. The app still saw the receiver but no response to any of the audio controls. Tried deleting configuration, re-configuring, uninstall/re-install, etc. all to no avail. Disappointing to say the least.

Lost remote for my sony blu ray player. Other apps are for the tv, but mine is lg, and I needed one for the player. This one worked perfectly: 5 stars, no regrets!
