This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Remote For Pioneer AV Receivers and Blu-Ray on PC Windows and Mac.

This is a very technically sophisticated app, and I hope you continue to develop it, but the lack of absolute codes means I can't switch between surround and all-channel stereo without standing in front of the AVR (in a closet) and cycling through.

ill give it credit, it actually found my older receiver with no problems and has no trouble controlling it. On the other hand, pioneers own app had trouble finding it. The interface on this app at least resembles the controls on the receiver face and everything seems to work better than pioneers own app but im not sure i like everything about how its all arranged. Still pretty good app.

MyAV is an unofficial Pioneer AV Receiver & Blu-Ray Wi-Fi remote control app. Pioneer is a trademark of the Pioneer Corporation.
Includes the ability to rename, remote and reorder inputs, multi zone control and a DLNA browser.
This app can be viewed portrait or landscape (default) and is design with high res graphics for tablets.

Not only this but MyAV can also control a range of other products, (whilst still controlling the volume of your Pioneer). Other devices include Blu-ray players, TV's, set-top boxes, cable & sat.
