This single app has rendered all 4 of my Samsung SmartThings WiFi nodes, useless. I find it unbelievable that Samsung has just screwed over everyone in Canada apparently. I thought I may be on to something by signing out of my Samsung account on the phone and re-installing Plume for SmartThings WiFi and it did make it past the dreaded user account already on the phone but then the app just crashes out and stops. I have over $500 in Samsung bricks now. What a waste! Samsung support told me to call a 1800 number for support. Still haven't called because the support hours suck. UPDATE: I called Samsung today and was told that it has nothing to do with them and to call Plume support. I called Plume support and was optimistic during and after the call. Since I do have an iPad, I was able to load and use the software on the iPad without issue. The CS told me that there is a known issue with Android and that engineering was currently working on the problem. He opened a ticket for me to view progress. I suggest people in Canada that are in the same boat to call 1844MYPLUME. If enough people call in the problem, maybe it will be rectified sooner.

If you have a Samsung account and you log out of plume to give parental control to your wife (a married couple are not allowed to share wifi control for kids) you won't ever be allowed to login again to use Plume until you get a new Samsung account and reset your device. Censorship as a service for adults is my least favorite feature otherwise.

More control than anyone but a networking professional would probably need. List of all connected devices (with ability to disconnect for specified periods) is super useful. App works well.

Great app and works seamless with Samsung WiFi. Adds a great deal of value. Would have given it a 5 except the Canadian fork of Plume has been abandoned and doesn't get updates. The US version has so many more great features that I wished were available in Canada. Sadly, with the last update way back in 2018, it looks like this app has been abandoned. Too bad as it truly is what makes the Samsung WiFi as good as it is. Down grading to 1 star as app clearly has been abandoned in Canada.

I love Plume and their tech, but I despise the fact that this app has not been updated since November 2018. It is now missing critical component settings that are running in the back end that we have no control over being Canadian users. These settings only exist in the Plume Wifi app (which is only available for American users). Most notably is the ability to disable "AI Security, Privacy mode" which recently disabled my wifi for ten days because it was blocking DNS requests to any and all DNS servers. I eventually had to contact Plume support to disable this for me on their end as I could not through the app. Please update this version of the app to include all features and I will gladly change this to a 5 star review! Thank you

I live in Canada. I just purchased SmartThings wifi 3 pack. I installed Plume and I cannot get it to work. "Samsung account already exists in account manager" message. Tried everything I could find online and found some people in Canada experiencing the same problem. Some have installed the US version apk. I think that is ridiculous and will be returning this mesh wifi setup for something that actually works as advertised in Canada. I need to run it in bridge mode as an AP, need plume for that.
