Great app, has everything you could ever need in a machine shop. I use it every day. One this I would say though, is that it would be handy if you added a tool type and tool nose radius guide for choosing inserts for a certain application.

great application, but its better to have a physical calculator gadget because most of shop floor doesnt allow to used cellphone while on duty

I've personally bought pretty much every machinist app there is on the Play store. Just buy it. It's worth it. It combines 3-4 of the other apps on the play store (it also has more features that no other machinist app has). The DEV team keeps updating the app with new features and bug fixes. If you suggest new features the DEV team actually responds and cares. The only completion this app had was Machinist buddy. That app was not updated in years and got taken down this year. The only thing I can think of that it doesn't have is British Standard Pipe Tap information and you don't see a lot of that in the USA.

Mostly love this, and it's way cheaper than buying the physical machinists' calculator. Would love it more if they were to add a widget so I could do conversions from a home screen...😊 Update: dev got back to me about widget, I see that it's not an option right now, but it still would be nice. Have to give 5 stars for the quick response. (Was already at 4 stars).

As of now, I'm still a greenhorn when it comes to machining. So my knowledge of how to set tools at the right speeds is lack luxture, but this app has been a great help in learning as well as not breaking tooling with incorrect speeds and feeds. I also use to find the correct drill sizes for taps which is always a bit difficult without a proper chart.

Generally very good. The material catalogue exclusively uses number designations, which is fine if you know the provenance of what you're working on, but a more verbose listing would be great in the case of home workshop 'mystery meat' materials. Other than that, it's an excellent app that does everything I've asked of it and loads that I haven't yet.
