The sound coming from the headset isn't super loud, so you have to listen well. For the size of a headset, its not like they can put a really loud speaker in it. Helped me find my headset that I probably wouldn't have found for quite some time(I wouldn't have found it, but stumbled across it at a much later date). It would be perfect if I could also use the headset to find my phone.

Does exactly what you want it to do--either sends a loud tone to your headset so you can find where it is by sound. Or, if it's off, or out of earshot, it remembers the last time it was powered on or off or you made a call, then it shows you a map. Works perfectly. Looks cool, too. I love my M50 headset, it's the best--it even sat in a puddle in the rain overnight, then after three days of drying out works perfectly!

I had its predecessor, so it took a little time getting used to the new buttons. the only drawback is I haven't figured out which button to push or hold it twice in order to, voice command my contacts by name. Otherwise I love it. IT's the only bluetooth that actually has great noise reduction for background and my friends and family can understand what I'm saying clearly sometimes better than my phone' mic. I also got a great deal at Office Depot by having them match the price I found on Amazon for $57.

Found my device after 23 minutes. Although this worked better than blasting metal on Pandora, but it would have been easier if the lights strobed from, say, blue and red. I looked in the backyard in the dark a few times thinking that I'd both see it and hear it, but no lights actually go off. Very thankful for the app, though!

I don't understand how anyone could possibly hear if you're not standing right next to it..... In testing it, I finally had to walk up to it and put my ear down to hear it..... Such a wonderful idea but it only works if you know where it is....... The above was written the other day while I was looking for a Plantronics Voyager Edge could not hear it at all unless you had your ear to it today I was using my Plantronics marquee 2 and it was wonderful found it in seconds.

My last bluetooth earpiece was lost, somehow, which is incredible, since I'm an OCD neat freak who ALWAYS returns his belongings to their designated "home". But I also have young children, who, I strongly suspect may have been the perpetrators. Anyway, I bought myself a better, nicer Plantronics earpiece and I really like it. IF it ever becomes "lost" again, I can recover it. I've tested the efficacy of the app quite extensively and found it very functional and accurate.

About this app

Tired of searching for your misplaced Plantronics headset or wondering how much charge is available on your headset’s battery?

Most headsets are found under car seats, in pockets, or on a messy desk. For less obvious locations, acoustically locate your headset by sending it a tone so you can hear where it’s hiding. If your headset is out of Bluetooth® range (33ft/10m), or is powered off, then try the BackTrack™ activity log that maps where it was last in use.
How to find your headset:
• SEND A TONE: If you think your headset is powered on and within 33ft/10m of your phone, play a sound file through your headset and hear it tell you where it is. You can increase the volume or select an alternate tone from the library to improve your chances of hearing your headset. (Your media audio settings on your phone must be enabled.)
• TRACK IT: If you think your headset is powered off or too far away, review its recent activity on a time-stamped map to discover where your headset was last used. (Your GPS location services on your phone must be enabled.)

BONUS Battery Meter:
If your phone/tablet is running Android OS 3.X, 4.0.X, 4.1.X, 4.2.2*, 4.3 or 4.4 and it is paired and connected to any of the following Plantronics headsets, an on-screen headset battery meter icon will appear in your device’s Status Bar and a talk-time estimate for your headset will be included in your Notifications list.
