Nice idea, but it doesn't work in Galaxy S8plus. After choosing colors & saving, it shows up as only a white square, unreadable.

careful - after downloading this I immediately bought the full app. You can customize things I didn't even think of! Android 9's left clock update does not allow this icon at the left of the status bar though.
