Pictures are coming out distorted. I've restarted my phone and reinstalled the app. Also every time I try to export the pictures I'm unable to extract the data from the zip folder. Windows gives an error saying the zip file is invalid. I created a support ticket on the website addressing this as well.

Buggy, can't delete or disable out of focus pictures or revise poor outcomes. Outside scenes seem to be relative to the start point and not to GPS, not good if you want a level as reference for angles. Trialling to see if suitable for remote capture by inexperienced users for designing new parts. Not really possible because no editing of pictures and the inexperienced operator will make mistakes. Particularly with motion blur due to auto picture taking. Concept is good.

I downloaded and did a quick scan around my yard then tired to upload for processing? Unfortunately the ability to use a 15 day free trial seemed to disappear after I created an account and the whole account/subscription process is messy. App looks promising so I'll reinstall and give it another shot in the future.

DONT INSTALL THE APP. It looks good for the first 5 minutes and then you have to pay to do anything. They make you take a video of a random object, all this app does is take a bunch of pictures. They want you to pay for a monthly subscription before you can even see what the model would look like. Don't even waste your time, take a 5 minute nap, or meditate, or eat food, but don't waste it on this app please.

PIX4Dcatch lets you create 3D models and maps with your mobile device.

Just point and shoot to gather data, ready for accurate 3D model generation. Use it to recreate reality and measure the world around you.

You can pair it with the viDoc RTK rover to achieve centimeter-accuracy and better precision for your project and single-point measurements.

To generate georeferenced 3D models, the collected images can be uploaded to PIX4Dcloud or exported to PIX4Dmatic. Both offer a 15-day trial to get started. Projects can also be freely exported, processed, and visualized in third-party photogrammetry software.
