This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Pix4Dcapture on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

Originally I did not like having to use a 4th party app (CTRL+DJI) to even make it work and it wants location on all of the time. Just turn off location when mission is finished. The Pix4D app works great so far. Only one issue at this point. I keep seeing "advanced settings" from overlap to speed to actual camera settings. The settings on my app are very basic. No camera settings at all and only 4 settings to control the mission flight. I need access to the advanced settings.

I am trying to use this application with Android on Huawei for a Parrot Bluegrass. I am permitted to design the polygon but the mission won't fly: 1. Drone Firmware not updated, 2. Country Drone not set. After clicking on the underlined warnings, appear the previous screen. No settings available to fix these problems. The same troubles on grid option.

This app would be great for mapping. I have two drone P4Pro and Mavic Air 2. It run smooth in P4Pro with Ctrl+DJI, but is there any good news that this app would support the mavic air 2 any time soon? Oh and another thing is when would the kml support in ios? Since it also smooth in android and help me much.

Signups on my phone was impossible as program only displays in landscape mode. I gave up and uninstalled it.

Installed it, I didn't want to be part of their data collection so selected "No" for those options, because of that when I try to log on I get "cannot login, cannot connect to the server". If you don't mind your private data being mined by this app it may work, if you value your privacy then it's of no use whatsoever. Now another useless app deleted from my phone.
