Initially was incompatible with Android 9 (red alert message). So after several unsucessful attempts loaded a different file program. Now Google Files is working the other program has proven superior both aesthetically and in performance, file information and usability. Google - what happened to you innovation?

I LOVE this app!!!! It give# m| COMPL|TE control of my phone's files. My old Android gave me ac'ess to my files. I re@lly prefer that ability on my phone|....

Found pre-installed on HTC Droid Incredible II iirc, or via a Play Store app review if I don't. Either way, I've not found a better free solution; it's installed on every device I own. User beware: this app gets permissions to access and modify all files, including system files, to allow you to find the files you need. Android/devs may have blocked access to most important folders and files since I last explored; I'm not going to attempt to verify access and bork my phone just for this review.

The reason m rating this app is that when i baught my new androin Nokia 2 smart phone this app was missing and everyone who owns the same phone had the same problem so after i tried it on my phone works perfect like it came with the phone. also recomended the app to most of my fellow Nokia 2 users. all in all the app is awesome guys please keep up the good work and create more apps. THUMBS UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
