Unfortunately, it did not work on my S8. Additionally, the changelog ends in 2017. I tried both modes and other possible fixes to no success. I believe it is due to the security patch just released, so I'm not blaming the app for not working, more of it needs updated around the newest security patch.

I really like and use Samsung Phones but this bixby thing is Useless AND Annoying (IMHO). I will Always use Something to Disable Icksby(misspelling intentional). If & When Samsung finds a way to Stop Work Arounds like this ReMapper, I will STOP Using "SamSang" Anything. I decided Against buying a Very Attractive Refrigerator because Icksby was Built-In & I simply Refuse to have to deal with this "app" AnyWhere. So this App (ReMapper) is virtually a gift from the Lord!

It did not work on Samsung Galaxy Note 8. It was like not having an app installed at all.

Did exactly what it was supposed to do. I'm so sick of Samsung shoving their stupid Bixby app in my face, and remapping the button to turn on the flashlight feature worked perfectly and is 1000% more useful. Bixby pops up for a split second when the button is pressed, but immediately closes and the flashlight turns on. I actually get grim satisfaction out of seeing Bixby wake up only to be immediately slapped back to sleep. Thank you!

I love this app! I have tried for 2 months to disable the Bixby button and app with very little success. I do wish Samsung would have given the user the choice to activate or not the Bixby application.

Updated: Worked great with Oreo but broken with pie upgrade from Samsung. Bixby button now defaults to bixby voice vs. Bixby. Good news is you can get it working again! In settings, search for "Bixby key". 1.) Select "Double press to open Bixby". 2.) Enable "Use single press" toggle 3.) Tap inside " Use single press" area 4.) Tap "Open app" 5.) Tap on the settings button (cog button) 6.) Select " Bixby" app. Now remapper will work again like it did before!
