In my settings, QR code reader does not show under my list of apps. I have a New phone and I don't remember ever installing this app from Playstore! I checked my Playstore history and it doesnt show that i have downloaded it either! I dont understand how this app got on my phone and why it isn't listed under my app list in settings? Too much of a risk and i dont have much trust to begin with! I hope this doesnt happen again.

I scanned the code for an "e-book" for a deck of Oracle cards- it immediately wanted my credit card # The only thing free-here- is the app itself-you have to pay to read the contents of whatever you've scanned-which renders "free" a moot point-now doesn't it?

All it did was take a pic of the code and show me everything laid out in text. There was no option to actually go to the website I needed to get to. Immediately deleted, will try another app.
