This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Map Pad GPS Land Surveys & Measurements on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

Got it last week to survey some land and next day paid for the Pro license. It's simple, fast, light and gets the job done. I'm having a few issues with some "ghost" projects that after deleted still show in the list and a tracking that can't be edited and crashes the app. But, still , it functions really really well. I gave 5 stars. The f(x) to create a waypoint ("project waypoint") using distance + azimuth COULD be made a lot BETTER of it accepted decimals, instead of only integers.

Poor app. Purchased pro version and found it was limited in data it will accept. I tried importing my kml file. No luck at all. Even GPX points would not supply on the map. Wanted my money I'm afraid......

I like the way you can place points on the map, however trying to find the final measurements is a pain in the butt. Why it doesn't just display the measurement at the top or somewhere on the map? Why do you have to go hunting for it? This app has potential, just needs sine better GUI to make it easier for more people to get something out of it. Lastly, popping up an ad while I'm right in the middle of drawing out my measurements is a fast and efficient way to insure uninstalling.

Very promising good work but manual WGS84 minus sign is not recoqnize other than -D.mm

Great app for managing areas. But mapad is left out in: (1) You cannot view in offline mode. (2) You cannot save your areas in google drive. Am optimistic that this developers can fix this issues, by the way nice app and not too much clumsy!

Useless trial version and low price is not that low if the software proves to serve no useful function. Need trial that allows for actual testing.
