I've been waiting for the x86 version of GNU Octave for Android. My tablet is an Asus MeMo Pad FHD which is based on the Intel Atom Z2560 chip (which is x86). I had virtually no problems installing, and it's working great so far! Will do additional testing soon. My initial confusion is I needed to install the x86 version of all the packages rather than the non-x86 versions. I have installed the following: GNU Octave Octave Main Package x86 Octave Gnuplot Package x86 Octave Specfun Package x86 Octave ODE Package x86 Octave Control Package x86 Octave Optim Package x86 Octave IO Package x86 Octave Symbolic Package x86 Octave Signal Package x86

Here take your 5 sparkling stars!! People are so thankless, they have no idea about millions of codes that have been written just to bring this into mobile phone. Now I don't need to open matlab just to do /test simple computations.
