NQ Family Guardian, used with our web portal, allows parents to monitor their children’s location and smartphone usage and manage how kids use their devices. Install the app on your child’s phone to monitor their smartphone activities, including web browsing, app downloads, photo libraries, contacts, text messages and more. 1. Download and install the NQ Family Guardian app on your child’s smartphone and follow the instructions in the setup wizard.
2. Sign up for an NQ account as part of the setup wizard in the app, or at family.nq.com.
3. Sign in at family.nq.com to see your dashboard and view your child’s recent activities.

Before you set up NQ Family Guardian, download our Kids and Smartphones Toolkit (www.nqmobilefamily.com/familycontract). Developed with the National Cybersecurity Alliance, the kit includes tips to help parents and kids learn about how to stay safe when using your smartphone. Use our Mobile Family Contract so you and your kids can have a clear agreement about appropriate smartphone use.

App Permissions
Allows an application to collect component usage statistics
Declaring the permission implies intention to use the API and the user of the device can grant permission through the Settings application.
Allows applications to open network sockets.
This constant was deprecated in API level 8. The restartPackage(String] API is no longer supported.
Allows an application to call killBackgroundProcesses(String].
Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.
Allows an application to receive SMS messages.
Allows an application to read the user's contacts data.
Allows an application to initiate a phone call without going through the Dialer user interface for the user to confirm the call.
Allows an application to read SMS messages.
Allows an application to send SMS messages.
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.
