Alas, it offered only a temporary reprieve. BUT, the good news is that there now (Dec 2018) is a video that describes a repair most people can do by themselves that requires no new hardware other than a small piece of aluminum foil. Sounds incredible? That's what I thought, but after reading the comments and with nothing to lose, I gave it a shot -- and it totally worked! Phone now handles deepsleep mode, no probs, and in general, it feels like new. Shut off Wakelock, no longer needed. Search YouTube for "100% fix galaxy note 4" for ARNOOKIE VR's video. Good luck! Take your time and be careful with those connectors. And send that guy a donation for coming up with this fix!

It works for the most part..but my phone still Dies randomly once and a while.. If it gets ABOVE 100 DEGREES FERENHEIT

Not working for me

Well it works on my Note 4 after Marshmallow update, phone was dead, had to put in freezer to boot to SAFE MODE, or even come on. But once rebooted or turned off.... Back to step 1! After installing this it rebooted for the first time since May 2017. I've rebooted it 3 times now and even pulled battery out and it works! One Note 4 fixed and one BRICK NOTE 4 TO GO!!! NICE....

A for effort and caring. Thank you for making this app. But it does not work. Sleeping death issue occurs while charging only. And only when the screen is off. Workaround is macodroid app. While charging: Trigger: power connected; Actions: Keep Device Awake enabled and Screen Off; constraints: none

Incredible app. I was hopeless but this app brought my Galaxy Note 4 to live again! It works like brand new one :) I was worried about the battery duration with the CPU awaken all the time, but there is no problem. My battery durability is like before
