Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Nobø Energy Control on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

The app seems to work as intended and has served me well. However, something I would really like to be able to do is schedule floor heating to switch on (or to eco/comfort mode) for x of the cheapest electricity hours in a day according to nordpool for example.

Can't add NTB-2R auto search don't find new unit. If add manually remote control not working, help!!

Very confusing. It's not clear what settings is on or not and when. Unfortenately I can not find the PC version of the app either. I want more control over each element and a better overview of the system. The app feels like a home made product that has been abandoned. No new development and upgrades the last years.

its OK- bit basic and it would be good to be able to have different temperatures in the morning and night. As many others have said - needs Google/Alexa integration which would be good on a cold day to override the set timers.

As per other comments, very disappointing there is no Google assistant or IFTTT support! Interesting to see Dimplex Alta Wi-Fi heaters are supported by Google assistant through the Capa app. Hopefully this is something that you will coming to Nobo Energy Control???

It's working fine but I don't like that you can choose only 2 temperature status: "eco" and "comfort". That it's quite limited in my opinion.

Key features:
• Organises heaters and thermostats in ZONES (functional groups).
• Each zone has a Normal Weekly Program defined by the user, with four possible settings available (COMFORT, ECO, AWAY and OFF). The Normal Weekly Program runs automatically, saving electricity and money.
• System override at a single touch on APP, when short term changes are needed.
• Multiple users can operate the same system.
• COMFORT and ECO Temperatures can be set individually for each zone, depending on the type of system units. AWAY equals frost safe temperature 7°C.
• System units (heaters etc.) can be added and removed at any time.
• System units (heaters etc.) can be moved between zones.
• System units (heaters etc.), zones and weekly programs can be named and renamed.
