Keeps going up. No button or setting panel to reset anything. I reached 648 dB and still counting!

Pretty, colorful, but usless. It rated the tap of a nail against a doorknob in the night at a whopping 70 decibels. I'm not sure what hat it's pulling numbers out of, but if you want a fun to look at teaser, this is for you. If you're seeking a real application, this is not at all accurate.

Wish it had the ability to stop the meter. Zooming the history is hard while it's running. Easy to read and follow. Nice little sound meter.

About this app

Measure your surrounding sounds using just your mobile's microphone and compare the results on a real time chart.

The circular meter displays the live sound level in Decibels and changes its color according to the measured value:
Green: Quiet range
Blue: Low sound range
Orange: Medium sound range
Red: High sound range

Pinch to zoom in and out of the real time chart and slide your finger to move across the measured values history.

Note: Due to the limitations set by most Android phone manufacturers, the built in microphone will not detect sounds higher than 80 Decibels (90 Decibels on certain models).

Disclaimer: This tool is not valid as a replacement to a real sound meter device and therefore, should not be used in critical situations. The mobile's microphone is not an industrially accurate sound measurement device and might produce incorrect and incompatible values with different environments and situations.
