For everyone having problems getting this system to work, like I did, I might be able to help. I found if you clear the apps data in your settings/apps/inkbird/storage, it will work. Or uninstall, then reinstall. It seems if you have a fresh log in to the app it works flawlessly for original wifi set up. And the same for using the app via mobile network., you have to clear app data every time you want it to connect to the controller. Of course after you set it up using wifi. Hope this helps.

Version 1.0 works pretty stable for me. Good customer support - when I bought the device the version on google.play didn't connect for me but they provided me with one over the email and that worked. Now I have version 1.0 which is current and that still works well on my family's few Samsung devices: Galaxy J7 2015 and Galaxy S Duos II S7582. So the comments that fails connect which are past May 23 (1.0 release) looks a bit odd to me but may be I was just lucky. Deducted 1 star for temperature graph only displays the statistics for the duration of current app session. Would be useful if would show at least 24 hours history...

I received a replacement device, and it's behaving the same as the first. Unfortunate because I really wanted this to work. Came back to this on 9/1/17 and the same result as before.

Can't connect device to WiFi, so it's pretty useless as a Smart controller. I'm going to return the device. So lame that you can't create a properly working app for Android.

Like everyone else says "won't connect". I had such hopes for this. Now I need to waste my time returning the controller.
