I am using a cell phone now as a home phone. I need this app to flash the screen and/or camera flash to notify me of missed voicemail or messages when I walk in the door (without having to go fiddle with the phone every time). No such luck. I'm not concerned about battery drain as the phone will be connected to the charger all the time.

For the most part, the app is pretty good. I do, however, have two big complaints. If I receive a voicemail message when the phone is turned off, the app does notify me of anything when I turn the phone back on. It only works when the phone is on. It also fails to give an alert when the phone is in Airplane mode. I recently came back to the US from a trip abroad. Arriving in the airport, I turned on my phone and it didn't show that I had any vm messages. By chance, a day later, I needed to call my vm and found out that, in fact, there were several messages. I tried the app with the phone on...and with the phone off. Again, it only worked with the phone on. It would be nice if it functioned when I booted up the phone and when it is put in Airplane mode (I just tested it twice) So, in short, it only functions when the phone is on.

It works well, but I wish it had more alert tones to choose from, or better yet, I could select my own MP3 as a tone. Most of the ones you have are too short for me to notice - only the Jetsons is long enough, but it is a bit too long (bothersome to others).

Missed call alert works on Moto Z3, however Missed message alert does not work. Using Next SMS for messaging.
