I've had the absolute worst luck with duplicate finders and this was no exception. What good is finding the duplicates if I can't address and correct the issue? This found some but not all. And I couldn't delete the ones it found. Probably due the changes in software I have going on (de-googling this phone at this time). Anyway, uninstalled.

I used this to scan my phone for duplicates. I found plenty of things to delete, but the problem is, I need to allow write permission to my SD card, even if I'm not trying to delete off the card. I don't want to do that because I want to keep everything on my card and don't want to accidentally delete anything. I also don't even know where to grant write permission if I wanted to. Everything I'm finding I want to take off my phone. Otherwise, it's fine.

🤔 I added 4 same photos that listed below 2 where you said it didn't delete Ok ! I gave it a try and I was just trying to see if this app would work so I screenshot two photos and then I took two pictures that was exactly the same and I downloaded this just to make sure if it would work and it did not delete any photos I also put the pictures in my gallery I put the same in my Google photos and my Google Drive so I Had "sets" of alike photos so 6 photos of no photos was deleted at all 🤷🏼

FINALLY. "💙#1" FAVORITE APP ALL OF PLAYSTORE JULY. I must express my GRATITUDE ❤️💗😇 for this App. ITS SIMPLY INCREDIBLE. TRULY ..unlike any other dupfile"explore" apps. I truly am astonished of the simplicity and HIGHLY COMPLEX THOUGHT that went into designing this app out.The development team did not forget a thing. I have found a PURRFECT app. Very rare. In 2020 I have maybe found 6-8 PURRFECT apps out of hundreds n hundreds I've tested ,and continue to test DAILY. EVERYBODY PLEASE DOWNLOAD

EDIT: still the best I've found, but I can't understand why this can't accomplish what similar Windows apps can do (find similar files better, etc.). And do need to be cautious using it: WILL delete items that aren't exact dupes if don't set correctly. just tried out 4 different apps of this type, and this is the only one that does a thorough/accurate search. There are a ton of ways to customize it, from file type to folder to method of match.
