It doesn't remember the reading place when interrupted by power outage or phone calls, making it unsuitable for most amateur uses. As does its high price. It's not 2001 anymore, natural ai voices are part of many operating systems and they need to change less. I was about to buy a $60 year when I realized that the natural voices were not consistent across operating systems and browsers. For example, the windows 11 voices in Edge blew away the natural Android ones, built in the browser.

Please keep fixing the bugs in this product and improving it. It was a great idea. Unfortunately, this will read blank spaces (which is annoying) and the worst part is that you have to take a picture of the document you want it to read. Natural Reader will not be good for ebook reading at all, if that is the case. It will burn up too much phone memory and be very frustrating to use.

The app is somewhat cumbersome to use, but voices are very natural. Not very well designed for reading books. You can search pages but not chapters. If you expand text size, print lines drop off the edge of the screen. "PLUS" voices are much superior to the free standard, But WAY too expensive with monthly subscription rates almost $20. Too expensive for recreational reading. Standard voices ARE somewhat better than my e- book reader, but the e- book reader has much better navigation for books.

$18/mo is a hilarious subscription fee. The paid voices do sound nice, but the reader goes through awkward pauses and stutters while reading that really ruins any sense of immersion. Maybe it's...... Any comma that stops the flow..... But it definitely makes the app........ Not worth it.... Especially when considering the subscription cost is more than a streaming service.

Tried multiple other apps and this one stands out. Anyone having issues make sure you have a natural reader account and refresh the app. The computer application in Microsoft store is also very good especially when compared to the alternative choices. Make sure you change the settings to read stuff inside () [] etc if needed or not. I've finished odyssey, hesiod and the homeric hymns and argonautica all in a couple days with no issues. Very happy had to leave review.

This app has the basis for a useful tool but isn't there yet. Regardless of your subscription level, reading pauses frequently at the end of text lines and end of sentences for a duration that can break understanding of a topic. The app frequently stops reading altogether after a few lines of the app isn't pulled up on screen. Subscription upgrades do not refund or prorate the lower tier either so wasted money if you upgrade either. Going from premium to plus in the same day was a waste.
