This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Out-of-Bounds Alert on PC Windows and Mac.

Full of ads, does not even work, no auto-capitalisation, looks like crap, DO NOT DOWNLOAD OR PURCHASE.

I tried the sms feature and it didn't do the job. I set a 500m geofence and the app informed me at 6000m away.

About this app

OB Alert is a geo-fencing utility. It checks if the Android phone is within a pre-defined range from a Reference Point. If the range is exceeded, it will send a SMS and/or email alert to a pre-defined mobile number and/or email address silently.

The current location of the phone will be indicated in the SMS and/or email.

The frequency of checking and the number of alerts to be sent in out-of-bounds situation can be configured.

Remote Settings mode allows the configurable parameters to be changed remotely via Google Docs.

Potential Usage:

- Geo-fencing for people or movable assets.

- Care for children, elderly or disadvantaged.

English and Simplified Chinese locales are supported.
