This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Log My Trail on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. About this app

When enabled, Log My Trail will continuously log the location of the Android phone on a spreadsheet on Google Docs.

The location update frequency is user configurable. It uses GPS and/or wireless networks based location information.


Potential Usage:

- Create journey logs for record and route analysis. Google Docs spreadsheet data an be exported for use by other applications.

- Allow authorized persons to track the Android device/user by sharing the logs on Google Docs.

- Log and track movable assets like vehicles.

English and Simplified Chinese are supported.

*Log My Trail has a companion app called Follow Them. Follow Them is able to track up to 4 Log My Trail users and shows their locations on a home page widget display.
