Useless app. It's asked to login into the router (if I can login to the router why I required this app non sense). In router setup screen having confenditial information like pppuser and ppppassword information that might stole)

I have a rooted Samsung Galaxy that other apps recognise as being rooted, but not this one. The app would be useful to recover passwords you have been given but forgotten to write down (for example, by your landlord) but all it does for me personally is show ads and tell me my rooted phone is not rooted. So, it's clearly hit and miss as others seem to find it works.

Fake app, only shows common username and password combos such as "admin admin "... The whole point of this app is to show you ads when you click anything. Don't bother downloading!

This app works perfectly. Super simple all the bad reviews are from people that don't understand that they need to be rooted for it to work. Would definitely recommend :)

About this app

Show WiFi Password is a feature-rich tool that allows the retrieval of saved wifi passwords of a device.
You might need to see the passwords of saved wifi connection when there's a new device that needs to be added to the connection and you have no easy access to its password, or there could many other possible causes. For all such events, Show Wifi Password makes it easy as the snap of a finger to share Connection passwords with others or see them to yourself.

Show Wifi Password comes with the following features.
1. Shows SSID and Password of all the connections saved in a device.
2. Share WiFi Passwords with a single touch or Copy them to your clipboard.
3. Shows the currently connected network and its password.
4. Works with any Android Version including Oreo despite recent changes made to the system file architecture.
5. App serves the exact purpose it is said to serve with a minimal UI approach.

Important.
This application makes use of the SuperUser privileges, hence devices need to be rooted.

Do not worry if your Android device is not Rooted. This app also contains a no Root Mode also. This enables users to view the password of the currently connected WiFi network without the Root access. However, we do not guarantee 100% as you can unhide the password of the currently connected WiFi network with the help of No Root Mode. This method doesn't have the ability to read WiFi Password directly from your Android device.

This app does not decrypt hashed passwords, nor does it crack passwords of unsaved networks.

The app may not work on some Samsung devices as intended due to certain technical issues. Even though there's a workaround for this problem, it is highly inadvisable to meddle with core system configuration files if you do not know what you are doing. (To solve this Hashed password problem access your system directory and look for a file called build.prop, and simply change this line ro.securestorage.support=true to false in /system/build.prop.)
