Pro Adept Remote Control allows us to control infrared port electrical appliances that matches with IRDA (Infra-Red Data Association) standard.
This application works “offline”, providing a wide list of remotes control. You will find any remote control your looking for in it. In addition Pro Adept Remote Control offers different ways for adding new remotes control, by using cloning functionality or manual addition of (Pronto HEX)/DEC codes, allowing users to create their owns remotes control as customized as they want, It's a remote control which permits you to control your TV,Home Theater,Air Conditioner etc, import/export all the remotes control the users want, share their own customized remotes control.
Pro Adept Remote Control goes beyond the fact of using a smartphone or tablet as an Universal Remote Control, but also this application takes into account the users comfort by using the “Voice Commands” functionality, which allow us to “Turn On/Off”, “Channel Up/Down”, “Volume Up/Down”, etc., with our voice, making the users life more comfortable. “Voice Commands” functionality was made thinking to bring to the handicap persons an easy way to ''control.
Another interesting functionality of Pro Adept Remote Control is the “Smart Reaction”, which permits to the smartphone or tablet to make decisions for us when a phone call is incoming, for example, if we are watching TV and we receive a phone call, automatically Pro Adept Remote Control will reduce the TV´s volume for you to hearing the phone call ringtone, in case you answer the phone call, the TV´s volume will not be annoying because Pro Adept Remote Control already understand this situation and prepared it for you; in case you do not answer the phone call Pro Adept Remote Control will automatically resume the TV´s volume for you.
Both functionalities “Voice Commands” and “Smart Reaction” to correctly work depends on the smartphone or tablet alignment with the electrical appliance. This functionalities are available in any remotes control category of the application, for example in case of DVD Player or Home Theater, you can use voice commands to pause, to play, to fast forward, to rewind, etc; in case of Air Conditioners you can use voice commands to increase/decrease temperature, to swing, etc. The “Smart Reaction” functionality will work too with a DVD Player or Home Theater, but instead of reduce/resume the volume like TVs, will pause/play the player, in case of Air Conditioners or Fans doesn't have any sense a smart reaction because that electrical appliances doesn't disturb a phone call.
