The registration for the wifi remote has too many bugs. I followed all the registration instructions but could never get access. Finally it told me that my password was not recognized. The link I was sent to reset my password was too long and had no references to the MrCool company. In short, it looked suspicioius to me. I removed the wifi connection from the unit. I was looking forward to using this feature, but that's not gonna happen until MrCool cleans up the bugs and improves security. (I cant submit this review until I select a rating. The ac works well and the installation was a breeze. I would have given Mr Cool 5 stars had it not been for the wifi remote failure.)

It actually worked well when it worked. The problem comes if you ever need to log back in or forget you password. Password email links to a dead site. I can't even create a new account to get access. No support available. Disappointed.

Won't work. Come on Mr. Cool fix your app. I just finished installing a mini-split unit. Unit works well, but I can't get app to connect at all. Very disappointing.

HAVING SAME ISSUES. So it says in the about this app section : "The APP could not support Android 6.0 and up" (SERIOUSLY?). I see so many bad reviews that wants me return this Mr. Cool mini split unit that I recently purchased and installed. The developer has not answered a single review and app has not been updated for a long time; to me has much to say about the quality of the equipment as well. DEVELOPER: please have a solution to the reviewers complaints. Thanks.

App worked ok on and off first year. Now forgets the unit every 2 days. So I have to relink the ac to my app. Tried with android and iPhone, same issue. Tried contacting developer and nothing.

I get all of the way to the home Wi-Fi screen. I select my local wlan and put in the password. Absolutely nothing happens. I never get past that screen, no matter how many times I do it. Since it doesn't work, I think it deserves 0 Stars.
