Functional but rough. I got a couple dimmer switches to try out home automation. I can operate them from this app, check. Devices are limited to 2.4GHz; WiFi password cannot be "too long"; i haven't found an API to do anything externally (yet). Decent basic functionality, but could be improved. No update in 7 months is worrisome.

The app is functional but has many bugs. Monoprice will not support it, and one of their techs admited they don't know who developed it and they are not updating it. The app can not program the stitch controller to control an air conditioner. It is not comparable with WiFi networks broadcasting on 2.4 and 5 GHz simultaneously.

This app makes setting up Stitch sensors easy. My big wishlist item is: on the homepage all the sensors are listed; but I wish it also displayed the open/ closed status here. There is space and it would much better than having to flip pages to see what is open. Other apps (Kasa, for instance) do this.

Says my wireless password is too long. Water sensor battery has been dead for how long? I don't know as stitch never told me or sent a warning. Thought my basement had a flood warning system but now I realize how crappy this device, software and connectivity really is. I have 5 google homes and 1 Alexa in home and this will not connect to either service to be managed even though I've connected my stitch account to both services. I expected a device that worked but that's not what I got.

Works well, but alarm should be adjustable. It just uses my text message notification which for a water alarm is not sufficient.
