Don't underestimate this app. I tried about 8 of them, some of them, I admit, quite good. But they were more than a person needs. When someone needs a flashlight, they're in the dark, maybe bending over in an automobile trunk, and all they need is light. Period. This one does that... one click... maximum brightness... no ads... just light. Not even any settings. It just knows to go to maximum pure white light. That's it. It's either on or off, nothing more. Other apps can do that, but they include swirling and flashing and alternating and scrolling and all kinds of other crap which doesn't help anyone when they're standing in the dark and need some light! And that's all I want. I can leave the lights with disco balls and candles and whatnot to others who are more easily amused. If all you want is a light -- on or off, maximum brightness, no ads, no options -- then this is the one. Look no futher. To the app's author: Thank you! You, at least, GET it!

This is what i call an app. Does what it says , no hidden bs, no permissions it does not need. Why would a flashlight app need access to your contacts ....? Wake up people. Well done Dev Demand apps that require very basic, just what is needed permissions. Too many apps require permission they have no business needing to access and most of you don't pay attention.
