This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing QuickSet on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

About this app

Our smartphones are smart, but they're not perfect. They constantly keep checking for things like WiFi connections and Facebook updates. The problem is that they do this even when its not required, like at night or when there is no WiFi available. This causes unnecessary battery drain. There are many apps out there to help you automate your device, but they can be confusing and difficult to figure out.

QuickSet allows you to quickly change some of these settings depending on where you are and what time of day it is with just three taps of your finger.

Tap HOME to turn on your WiFi and Auto Sync and dim the brightness when you are at home.
Tap OUT when you leave the house to turn WiFi and Auto Sync off and increase screen brightness.
Tap DAY during the daytime to keep your devices volumes at a reasonable level.
Tap NIGHT before you go to bed to turn all volumes down except the alarm.

Without this app, you would have to tap all of those options individually throughout the day in order to save a couple of hours of battery life!

This app can do all of that in just three taps.
