This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Network Info on PC Windows and Mac.

You can lock the screen ON from the settings, to prevent it from going off.

Some cellular and wifi information (such as RSSI) are not updated if screen goes off. This is an SDK limitation. You can use this option to prevent this, but it drains more battery.


RSSI (or RSRP for LTE cellular networks) is shown on the notification bar for both cellular and wifi networks.

You can choose to close the Service on Application exit from the settings.

NO information is sent anywhere. All information is ONLY displayed to your device.


SIM IMSI, SIM Serial, IMEI (or MEID) and MAC Address are considered sensitive information. Do not share them with other people!





Required Permissions:
• CHANGE_WIFI_STATE: Only used for scanning available Wifi networks to display more precise Frequency information.
• ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION: Only used for displaying location and CID/LAC/TAC.
• ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION: Only used for displaying location and CID/LAC/TAC.
• READ_PHONE_STATE: Only used for displaying cellular network information.
• ACCESS_WIFI_STATE: Only used to display the Wifi state.
• ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Only used to display network information.
• WAKE_LOCK: Only used by the background service, so that is will be able to get some information from the device even when screen is off.
