About this app

Visco Temp is a small handy utility used to check the viscosity of fuel oils at different temperatures, using either the 'V50' formula or the 'Walther' equation.

Temperatures can be entered either in degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit, and the app has switches to convert between the two units.

The viscosity is entered in centi Stokes (cSt).

For the V50 formula only one temperature and corresponding viscosity are required, for the Walther equation two temperatures and two viscosity values are required.

After entering the desired values, the user can choose whether to display the viscosity / temperature graph using either the V50 formula or the Walther equation.

The app has an options menu in the top right hand corner to change the color theme of the graph, and there is a button above the graph area to change the viscosity limit. The limit can be set between 500 cSt and 4000 cSt.

For both the V50 formula and the Walther equation there are also fields to enter an alternative temperature or viscosity which let you calculate the corresponding viscosity or temperature value.
