This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing BPS Protect on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

This APP is ideal for all South Africans in all walks of life. The APP provides you with real support within seconds with a simple SHAKE OF YOUR PHONE!

When UNCOMFORTABLE / THREATENED, all you need to do is shake your phone to raise a ‘BPS ALERT’! Your location along with video/audio evidence will automatically be sent to your selected contacts immediately. The APP has 2 alert types, STEALTH & DETERRENT, to allow you to set an alert that suits your situation / lifestyle.

When engaging with SOMEONE YOU DON'T KNOW use the ‘BPS MEETING’ feature for peace of mind. Simply enter the duration of the meeting and descriptive information.
If you haven’t cancelled or extended the meeting timer an alert will automatically be raised with your emergency contacts. Contacts can easily be added/removed.

Use the ‘BPS JOURNEY’ feature WHEN TRAVELLING. This feature notifies your friends, family and co-workers if you’ve been held up or deviated from your route. Enter your departure point and destination and a SMS & email will be sent to your emergency contacts when you’ve commenced and safely completed your journey.

Use the ‘BPS REPORT’ feature when you need to report an incident that may affect you or others around you. This function allows you to send information / photos anonymously.
