Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Speco One on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. I read the other reviews, and can't figure out why there are so many unhappy people. I have used this app for about 2 years with my Speco NVR and cameras, and I have never had a problem. It connects quickly, great picture quality, and lots of options. Playback is straightforward and they make it easy to search for different points in time to review. I have had no problems and love the Speco One app.

Worked ok until a few months ago. Now can't get it to connect with this app. Worst part is customer service doesn't help. They refer to to the installer. If I don't have the installer info, i guess i just wasted my money. Go elsewhere if you can, This company can do much better. Shame on them.

Crashes repeatedly, even in the background. On playback, it randomly alternates between "no record," even though I can see the recording on my laptop, "no permission," even though I can live view from the same account, and actually working. Spent hours on the phone with support, Uninstalled and re-installed, same results.

Constant crashes. I can only view my cameras in 30 second (?) increments. The cameras themselves are great so far but the app is certainly lacking. If it gets better, I will definitely change my rating but as of right now...not very impressed at all.

this is terrible. will not stay connected to my camera. keep closing app. will not stay open for for then 30 sec. before force closing. i want to give 0 stars but obviously thats not an option. HATE this app and everything it does.

Absolute garbage. It crashes every 10 seconds and when trying to playback it crashes even more making you have to restart

About this app

Speco One allows Android users access to Speco Techologies' NXL model NVR. Speco One provides users with the capability of viewing live and previously recorded data from the NXL. Other capabilities include taking snapshots and recordings of live view, setting sites as favorites, push notifications and e-maps.

Note that this app is for the NXL, NX and NXP model NVRs.
