Works fine for me. I've used it to view live, view recorded and download parts of recorded. You don't need to give it any permissions for it to work, but it will ask every time you open it.

This is the most useless app ever! For something that is supposed to be about security, the cameras never load, the playback is HORRIBLE, the time displayed doesn't synch up to the current time, and basically nothing on it works! It gives you absolutely no peace of mind by being able to check in on your home/business in real time. It is NEVER ever updated or has bugs fixed. It's like whoever developed it did so, and then just completely wiped their hands of it. Avoid it as much as possible!

Poor app UX & design, and it consistently cannot connect to the cameras for days at a time. Fine in the location but the app can't connect. Would not recommend.
