This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Amcrest View Pro on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

Was a great app - Nov 30th update ruined it. I found that my motion detection alerts would now open the playback to the beginning of the day rather than a few seconds before the motion detection event so I just wasted time playing with settings. I thought I'd check if it by chance was due to the app and sure enough I find out that it auto updated and other users are reporting the same problem. Please fix. This has been a great security camera app. Your DVR system works great. No problem there.

The latest update to the app, 30 Nov 2020 does not work as it should. The first notification of motion detection after the update was 02:35 AM on 1Dec 2020. There were several notifications after that, but everytime I tried to review them, the notification for the 02:35 would come up. This is happening even after I cleared the event history, closed and reopened the app, and restarted my phone. I'm unable to go directly to any motion detection events.

New update and still; Doesn't show access to all the camera options for setup. Missing threshold, vacation schedule, motion tracking, and who knows what else. Alarm Trigger doesn't work and always gives an error message. No format access to sd card. If I have to use a web browser to set functions then this app is totally worthless.

Latest update is still buggy. Looking for previous version to load. 1. App crashes if I attempt to open a second camera in live view. 2. Selection of an event to view it shows events from an entire day starting with 1st event of the day. Not the event that just occurred. This is a bug not a feature!

UPDATED: As of latest version, the PUSH Image notification still not show up image. Got notification, but when I try to view it still show "no recording". Should there be a snapshot of the image? Push Notification works, BUT show no Image/Video with message "no recording". QR Scan doesn't work as I had to manual add my IPC serial number. Called Teck support and he ask me to install on another phine, same issue.

Just had an update today and since then it keeps playing only one motion detection alarm that was recorded last night again and again and to view any new recordings, you have to go through the time line, which is very inconvenient. PLEASE FIX THE PROBLEM
