About this app

Eastern Woodland Print Communications (EWPC) and The Confederacy of Mainland Mi’kmaq (CMM) have been involved in the production of the annual Mi’kmaq History Month poster since 1997. Gerald Gloade, Mi’kmawey Debert Cultural Centre’s Program Development Officer has provided his artistic ability, cultural and traditional knowledge in conjunction with EWPC staff and guided by the Mi’kmaq history Month working committee to showcase our heritage. Tim Bernard, Director of History and Culture at CMM is responsible for the overall project management of the annual poster.
The poster has received funding support from the Province of Nova Scotia and Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada.
