This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Smart Call Recorder - SCR on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

Another useless app that DOESN'T WORK. No calls recorded no Bluetooth. 75% of my calls are BT. But I am the most upset about is in a string of more than a dozen of Call Recorder apps that do not work & are just Spam/Ad funnels. I can also say that of all of the apps I tried is there are only 3 or 4 different platforms, this means that different icons & developer names that are just same useless apps. One had a bunch of 5⭐ reviews that of you read are negative. Google needs to ban these apps.

Recorded 53 seconds of a call quietly but well. Sadly, the call was much longer than that, and the silence it recorded for the rest of the entire call isn't much use. So I can't recommend it at present, unless you only make extremely short calls.

Positive: very good sound, records from both sides of the conversation. (I was on someone else's app from Google play and none of the settings would work, but this SCR app fixed that). Negative: the recorded files are hidden, and you can't mass export all calls. You can only do it 1 by 1. Other comments: please add ability to record calls from other apps (for example WhatsApp). Also, if anyone needs to mass export, use a file management/ WiFi file sharing app w access to hidden files. Fixed.

Works well, just what i needed to record my calls. UPDATE. Reduced from 5 stars to 1 star. It hasn't worked for about two weeks (mood May) on my phone. I get a pop up message saying that "SCR keeps stopping". I have deleted all recordings in case there is a size limit. I emailed the developer, but no response yet.

What's the point of the lock feature when you can easily access the recorded files using a file manager? Also, it would be nice to have a voice track amplifier utility. They are not even encrypted or anything.

Just downloaded the app. It has failed from the very start. Very first call I recieved came with a notice that the app had stopped working amd it hasn't worked since.
